Seminar on the challenge of implementing IoT in the industry

The dissemination seminar was held on the 26th of October, at the Faculty of Economy of the Burgos University. The seminar was aimed at local entrepreneurs and SMEs. The participating businesses spoke about their experience with the use of new technologies.

Javier Limorti, member of the BISITE Research Group, presented the IOTEC project and described the current objectives of the Digital Innovation Hub, the seminar was an excellent occasion for it.

The speakers included Javier Sedano ITCL Burgos, Alejandro Bárcenas from Tecland, Josema Fuentes from Tequipo and Jorge Izquierdo from the UBU Foundation. Although they all work in different areas, they had the opportunity to share a common experience, that of using new technologies and how their implementation contributes to businesses management.

The seminar finished with an interesting debate on Blockchain, its current and future uses and an invitation to continue advancing in innovation and creating synergies that have a positive impact on the local business fabric.
