Digital twins in the energy sector at the Community Days organized by IoT DIH

This year the Digital IoT Innovation Centre and the AIR Institute are once again organisng the Community Days within the framework of the DIH World project, which will take place on 18 April, whit the theme "Digital Twins". The aim of this event is to introduce PYMEs, medium-sized enterprises and other DIHs to the opportunities for collaboration and the advantages offered by DIH services.

During the Community Day several talks will take place, one of which will be "Digital Twins in the energy industry" presented by Raúl Juan García.

This presentation will address the application of digital twins to the training of personnel for the maintenance and support of machinery in the energy industry, specially in wind turbines, showing the usefulness of a system that allows replicating and practising situations in which operators may find themselves without putting their own integrity or that of the machines themselves at risk.
