Practical workshop on the use of the Onesait platform

It has been a pleasure to have Pedro Luis Antona Díaz and Mario Briceño González deliver a practical workshop in the R&D&i Building, on the construction of solutions through integration of  Cloud Computing, Edge Computing, IoT, Data Analytics and Machine Learning technologies in the open source Onesait platform launched by the Minsait Company. Both, researchers and tech companies affiliated with the  IOTEC platform have attended the workshop.

At the workshop, the participants could test all the functionalities of the platform because they got to use their own laptops to upload IoT data to the platform, filter, analyse and classify them using Data Analytics tools. They also applied Machine Learning techniques to extract value-added information from the obtained data.

The Onesait platform is the newest version of the Sofia2 platform, which is part of the European research project, Sofia (Smart Objects for Intelligent Applications), geared towards the construction of a platform for semantic interoperability.

Thanks to this platform, it is possible to deploy and develop applications based on the Cloud-Edge IoT, Big Data and Machine Learning paradigms with diverse application fields, including Smart Cities and Industry 4.0.
