Supercomputing has become a very useful tool for business competitiveness and innovation and, fortunately, Castilla y León has the SCAYLE Supercomputing Center, which offers services to companies in the region.

This organization, in collaboration with the Junta de Castilla y León and CEOE CEPYME Empresas de Salamanca, has organized a seminar to highlight the benefits that supercomputing offers to companies. The event will be held next Monday, on 16 October, at the headquarters of CEOE CEPYME in Salamanca (Plaza San Román, 7) starting at 10.30 am.

The seminar will be opened by Diego García Hernández, President of CEOE CEPYME Salamanca, and the different entities and use cases will be presented by Vicente Matellán, Director of SCAYLE; Juan Manuel Corchado, President of AIR Institute, and Alberto Cerrillo, Co-Founder & CEO of Vexiza. In addition, there will be a round table discussion attended by different officials.

The seminar is not only intended for businessmen and entrepreneurs, but also for engineers, executives, researchers, and ICT professionals who will be able to get a deeper insight into the world of supercomputing.

SCAYLE is part of the European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) DIGIS3, together with IoT DIH, ICE, AIR Institute, DIHBU, DIH-LEAF and the University of León, which provides services to companies and SMEs at the regional, national, and European level, meeting the needs of the business community and promoting their digitization.
