This day is part of the dissemination course "Approach to the Internet of Things", which sponsors nine talks in different parts of the community of Castilla y León. The event will begin with a presentation by Javier Prieto, Head of the Technical Advisory Board of IoT DIH, and a round table on IoT technologies, and the following speakers:

Esta actividad es una iniciativa que se desarrolla en el marco del proyecto “Diagnóstico de situación y plan de digitalización en materia de Industria 4.0” impulsado por el Instituto para la Competitividad Empresarial – ICE para los ejes sectoriales Transporte y Bienes de Equipo, incluido Aeronáutico, y Agrícola y Agroalimentario.

The dissemination course "Approach the Internet of Things" sponsors nine talks in different parts of the community of Castilla y León. This series of events are framed within the project Interreg PocTep IOTEC "Development of Technological Capacities around the Industrial Application of the Internet of Things", which has been funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) within the framework of the Interreg program VA Spain-Portugal 2014-2020 (PocTep).
They are also sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce and the IoT Digital Innovation Hub, headed by Professor Juan Manuel Corchado Rodríguez. Both entities intend to promote training in IoT technologies through the participation of leading entities in the use of these techniques. The aim is to boost the production and control processes in industrial solutions for SMEs through the application of IoT technologies.

After the success of previous editions of the Internet of Things (IoT) Week conference held in several European capitals, Bilbao, Spain, is the city chosen to host a new edition of this conference in 2018.
Jointly organised by the IoT Forum and IK4-TEKNIKER, the conference will take place between 4 - 7 June 2018 at the Euskalduna Conference Centre and focus on the most recent trends and developments in terms of technology and IoT (Internet of Things) solutions.
The IoT Week will gather top experts, innovators and stakeholders in the Internet of Things to address and identify emerging trends and technologies that will have a short-medium impact on different sectors.
